Sparky Books is a bookkeeping tool for Australian electrical contractors, operated from Brisbane, QLD. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

What we collect

• Account information (name, email, ABN, business name)
• Receipt images and extracted financial data (supplier, GST, totals)
• WhatsApp phone number (if you connect WhatsApp)
• Usage data and logs for debugging and service improvement

How we use it

• To provide the Sparky Books service (receipt capture, GST tracking, BAS estimates)
• To process your receipts via AI (Anthropic Claude)
• To send you WhatsApp replies via Twilio
• To send transactional emails (account, billing)

Data storage

Your data is stored on servers located in Australia (Sydney region) via Supabase. Receipt images are stored encrypted at rest.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
